Gates open at 8:30am.
Trains run 10am-1:30pm (or later if busy)
Steam and/or Electric Trains will be running depending on conditions.
Tickets are $3 per ride, or buy 10, get 1 free. Purchased on the day at the Ticket Office.
Eftpos is available, 2% surcharge applies
What to wear:
Safety regulations require EVERYONE riding the trains must wear enclosed footwear.
Persons in bare feet, thongs, sandals or open-toe footwear will NOT be permitted on the train.
T-shirts / Shorts are ok.
We run both Electric and Steam Trains. They are HOT! They emit smoke, steam, oil, sparks and hot cinders so do not wear good clothes.
Our grounds: Located in a beautiful bushland setting right next to Fairy Creek, across from Stuart Park in Virginia St North Wollongong.

No dogs are allowed in the park, however guide dogs are accepted.

Please note that for safety reasons and the comfort of others, ball games are not allowed.
Tables : We have a number of covered tables (no bookings) , as well as open grass areas for your picnic enjoyment
The Canteen: Will be serving hot food such as steak sandwiches, sausages, Egg and Bacon Rolls , sausage rolls and pies, as well as soft drinks, water, and coffee
Toilets: Located south end of the carpark. We have a mobility accessible toilet.
Cancellations: If the day is cancelled due to bad weather or a total fire ban we do not run on the following Sunday. Check our Facebook page for cancellations on the day.
